2021 Pierre Reserve Pinot Noir

A very limited production of Le Cadeau Pinot Noir with Pierre Millemann, an oenologist from Nuits-Saint-Georges who has worked with many top wineries in the US and Europe. Grapes are sourced primarily from Calera and Dijon clones on the Eastern side of our vineyard, estate plantings of Vosne-Romanée clones, and the various heritage clones from our Southern block. Bottled unfined & unfiltered.

Awarded 94 points by Wine Spectator: "This seductive Pinot offers polished and multilayered flavors of raspberry and black cherry laced with oolong tea and forest floor tones as this build richness to refined tannins."

Awarded 94 points by Wine Enthusiast and selected as an Editors' Choice: "A forest-floor walk filled with aromas of duff, mushrooms and pine needles, dark raspberries and violets. Tart red-raspberry and orange-zest flavors unite on the palate, along with strongly brewed black tea and nutmeg. Bold acidity meets silky tannins here."
