2019 Merci Reserve Pinot Noir

The Merci Reserve cuvee is our unique release crafted from estate plantings of “heirloom” or “heritage clones” of Pinot noir – clippings from Mt. Eden, Calera, Swan, Hanzell, and Vosne-Romanée (Côte de Nuits, Burgundy). This special bottling is a fitting tribute to those that have labored to make these extraordinary clones available to us, and to whom we express our deepest thanks.

Awarded 94 Points by Vinous: "Crushed black raspberry, dusty violet florals and hints of clove make the 2019 Merci Reserve impossible to ignore. This balances silky textures with ripe wild berry fruits and juicy acidity to create a wonderfully harmonious impression on the palate. Notes of sweet lavender linger above a bed of fine tannins as the 2019 tapers off dramatically long and remarkably fresh."
